About
Wild Bluegrass is where we talk about Kentucky—the real Kentucky.
Not just the Derby and the bourbon, but the home-trained chefs, the river towns, the quilters, the farmers, the fiddlers, and the families who've called this place home for generations. We are exploring Kentucky's culture, food, travel, and traditions with curiosity, respect, and a whole lot of love for the Commonwealth.
About Mason
Mason Warren, Founder & Chief Storyteller

I'm Mason—a lifelong Kentuckian who can't seem to stop talking about this place. My day job is at ShelbyKY Tourism, where I get paid to brag about my hometown. The rest of my time gets spent chasing down the stories that make Kentucky worth knowing. I live in Shelbyville with my dog, Parker.
Happy Chandler once said he never met a Kentuckian who wasn't either thinking about going home or actually going home. I think about that a lot. These are the stories of the place that are, once were, or will be again, home.
What to Expect
Stories about Kentucky's culture, food, people, and places. Some long, some short—all honest. I'm aiming to publish regularly as I build this thing, so check back often or subscribe to get new posts in your inbox.
This is a one-person operation for now, which means it's scrappy and personal. But that's kind of the point.
